PASTOR WILLIAM S. BEARD
Rev. Beard born in Baltimore Maryland, came to Utah in 1975.  Attended Second Baptist Church of Ogden where his membership is presently held.
Called to ministry in 1985, ordained in 1988 through the Second Baptist Church of Ogden, Utah.
Attended several colleges before committing to Christ, but religious education achieved through Liberty University correspondence program out of Lynchburg, Virginia, Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla, Georgia, and taken courses through Dallas Theological Seminary, and studied Eastern Religions at Weber State University.
Served in IGBC in various capacities from 1986 to the present.  Served as pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church of Pocatello, Idaho from 1989 to 2007, and now serving Bethel Baptist Church of Pocatello, Idaho as interim pastor for the past five years.
Rev. Beard has preached evangelistically throughout the United States and presently spends his time studying liberation theology, biblical history and sociology, and teaching the various bible doctrines and topical studies, as well as the book by book studies.
He is fascinated with the movement of God in today's world, charting the immutability of God from text to daily living.
Married to Sis. Geraldine Beard for the past 44 years, two sons Tanoka and Darius and 4 grand children.
